Program Director

Dr. Vishal Narayan

Dr. Vishal Narayan received his PhD from New York University in 2007. He teaches marketing courses in the BBA, full time MBA, part time MBA and PhD programs at the NUS Business School. Prior to joining NUS, Dr. Narayan worked for 6 years at Cornell University where he taught full time MBA and executive MBA programs. Dr. Narayan conducts research on issues pertaining to marketing in developing economies of Asia.

Irene Elisabeth de Pater

Dr. Irene Elisabeth de Pater is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, Department of Management and Organization. She teaches courses on leadership, work motivation, global management practices and personal and leadership development in BBA, master and executive MBA programs. Prior to joining NUS, she was an Assistant Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Pasha Mahmood

Pasha Mahmood is an Associate Professor at the NUS Business School where he studies and works with multinational and indigenous organizations on their emerging market strategies. Pasha joined the NUS faculty in 1999, after obtaining a degree in economics from Oberlin College (1992) and a Ph.D. in Political Economy & Government from Harvard (1999).

Niyazi Taneri

Niyazi Taneri is an Assistant Professor of Analytics and Operations at NUS Business School, National University of Singapore (NUS). Prior to NUS, he worked at Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD), where he was the lead for the MIT – SUTD International Design Centre’s Decision Making Research Thrust. He has held visiting positions at Singapore Management University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and INSEAD.

Prof. Johan Sulaeman is an Associate Professor of Finance at the NUS Business School. He is currently the Academic Director of the recently launched MSc Finance Programme. He also serves as the Research Director of the Centre for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI).

An alumni of Harvard Business School & ISB, Mr. Vijay Raghavan has an extensive experience of 23 years across Business Transformation, Consulting, Technology, Product Envisioning, Design & Development in BFSI, Intellectual Property Services, IT/ITES, Entrepreneurship Development and other domains.

Mr. Raghavan is an expert in analyzing and redesigning of business processes through disruptive and innovative product strategies. He is also responsible for transforming the business of several large organizations during his career as the Strategy & Business Transformation Head.

With rich experience in UK, US, Middle East and India geographies, Mr. Raghavan is also a certified Career Transition Coach for leadership level professionals.

While the acclaimed and expert faculty from NUS Singapore teach learners the key concepts and help them apply those in class with the help of tools including case studies, simulations etc. - the learners are enabled to practice the application further by completing several projects.

The learners complete 5 projects in the program and are supported by a carefully selected highly experienced, senior, hands-on mentor who provides direction, support and active feedback to help refine the output of the projects.
